  • What is a Real Backup?

File Copying and File-sharing Services are not Backups!

A true backup is a separate and independent copy of data, stored in a different location from the original data. It ensures data recovery in case of data loss, corruption, or disasters. Unlike a simple copy, a true backup is an unreachable snapshot of your data at the time it was done.

We use immutable storage to store your backups in the cloud at a secure datacenter here in the USA. Remember if you can see your backup data so can hackers!

What is Immutable Storage?

Immutable storage is a type of data storage that prevents stored data from being altered or deleted once it’s written. This ensures data integrity and protection against tampering, accidental deletion, or cyberattacks like ransomware This is particularly useful for regulatory compliance, secure document retention, and protecting critical data.

How often Should I Backup?

That really depends on how often your data changes and how important the loss of those changes are. The most common practice is to have an incremental backup daily, to track and backup everything that changes from day-to-day.

Does Microsoft 365 and Google WorkSpace Need to be Backed Up?

Absolutely. Microsoft and Google are not liable for data you lose or is stolen; You are! We have integrated cloud-to-cloud backup solutions for both to ensure you never lose as much as an email!
